from an Estonian manufacturer

All Softmed masks are made in Estonia. Thanks to two production lines, the daily production capacity of the factory in Jõgeva is currently about 150,000 masks per day.

This production volume ensures fast delivery and a very competitive price for large orders.

The production of Softmed masks is fully automated. Human involvement in the mask manufacturing process is minimal. Simply put, the fabrics are fed into one end of the machine and the masks come out from the other end. See the corresponding video below!

Medical masks are produced in three layers so that the layers of fabric are automatically assembled through ultrasonic welding. The ultrasonic welding method allows the masks to be made seamlessly, which improves the filterability and also the quality of the mask.  The last independent measurement of Softmed masks was 99.5% filterability! So we dare say that this is the best indicator among the masks currently available.

Softmed manufactures three types of surgical masks according to the European standard EN14683: Type I, Type II and Type IIR.

All standard masks are intended for medical use in hospitals as well as all other medical facilities.

The final design and operation of the masks has been attained in close cooperation with the main end users of our product – Estonian doctors. With the help of doctors, we have changed the size of the mask, the elasticity of the ear loops, and we have installed a thin, flexible plastic wire at the top of the mask. The included wire enables the user to bend the mask around the nose bridge in the best way possible. This is necessary both to increase overall comfort and to ensure that glasses or optical devices do not fog up when wearing the mask.
